... Redefining Success on my own terms
My version of success is not what I'd call 'typical', but neither is yours, it's unique to you
This is where this part of my journey started.
Brisbane 2020 ... Getting my Heavy Vehicle Licence.
Yes, that was the year the world shut down ... and there was a 6 month wait to get into truck school, so I signed myself up!
In September 2020 this was the moment I had my truck licence after having so much fun driving around the streets of Brissy is this 18 speed manual Mack truck. Thanks so much to the guys who put me through my paces and took this photo.
The journey so far has been a long one, both in life and for the conversion. As I initially had minimal trade skills, worked in business development and mental health, and lived in the inner CBD at the time this was taken.
My daily routine looks very different now!
We're told life should go in a particular way, and when it doesn't, do you find yourself reacting or responding?
The biggest life stress factors are typically cash-flow, work, health and relationships.
This puts us in survival mode. Many people don't even realise they've been in survival mode most of their lives, because fear inducing propaganda and 'disaster porn' are everywhere in daily life, and it's been designed that way.
So my question for you is .... What does success look, feel and smell like for you?
I don't mean the version society has told you it 'should be' or what you 'should' aspire to.
Have you even given it any thought?

I'm Renee, and welcome to this phase of the journey.
I'm documenting my bus conversion project, with no experience in building or trades and yes I'm doing it myself.
The gradual process of converting a 12.5 mtr (40 foot) 1999 MAN coach into a mobile office/apartment on wheels. I am a business and marketing coach + Hypnotherapist, so the name NomadiCoach seems fitting.
I've now learned that setting time-lines is a 'nice idea' when attempting such a big project. If you know, you know!
Driven by a qualified marketing specialist, business & marketing coach, digital & tech creative
and Trauma Informed Hypnotherapist.
This is a personal Bus Life blog with different topics and life stories.
