A healthy & tasty coffee alternative
I use this coffee alternative myself ... It really helps with caffeine withdrawals, which can be brutal if you're trying to kick the habit!
To put this in context, personally, too much coffee puts me to sleep ... the opposite effect to how it works for many people. Eventually being diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue, I needed an alternative and rather than accepting this 'diagnosis' find a way to heal.
The back story:
In my twenties, I was heavily reliant and bought into the belief that I couldn't operate without coffee... subsequently, I experienced significant gut health issues and adrenal fatigue (also known as 'burnout') in my early thirties. Having become a single parent during my teenage years, I attempted to do and manage everything simultaneously. This included pursuing a Psychology degree at university, holding a part-time corporate office position, and juggling household responsibilities, while striving to fulfil my parenting duties in a functional manner. In retrospect, the impracticality of this approach becomes clear.
The takeaway from this experience is that while I can attain various goals, it's not necessary to pursue them all simultaneously. With limited support, I endeavoured to demonstrate my ability to establish a successful career while raising my child on my own. There were even those who expressed the opinion that my early parenthood had negatively impacted my life and that managing solo parenthood was a mistake. Despite this, I was resolute in disproving these notions, which I've achieved to a great extent. I've always charted my own course in life and accomplished feats they never could.
I disregarded their apprehensions and devised my own solutions, even though I lacked a clear roadmap. Granted, it wasn't the easy option. I hold a sense of pride in my accomplishments, and while the weight of commitments and obligations were substantial, they expedited my personal maturation.
First I drink the coffee, then I do the things!
It's funny, and quite true for many ... we all know it's best not even to talk to some people until they've had a coffee.
Although I do enjoy the occasional coffee now and then, I have found I feel so much better and more energised when I stick to Jing and tea. Jing does have a 'stimulant' effect, but it's a much more gentle and longer lasting energy boost.
This is the only product I've found that helps me ditch coffee without the withdrawal symptoms & I've been drinking it for around 5 years, and some days I even have an afternoon cuppa' without the sleep disturbance or insomnia at night.
Ingredients are a Taoist herbal blend and are traditionally used in traditional Chinese medicine to:
- Tonify Kidney-Essence / Kidney-Jing
- Help body adapt to stress
- Relieve weariness / tiredness / fatigue
including: Cordycepts, Eucommia bark, Goji berry, Cistanche stem, Rehmannia root, Asparagus root.
I've found that my energy levels are relatively stable throughout the day, without Caffeine I don't find I have the afternoon energy dip nearly as often! As every body is different and I know there are more & more people like myself that can't tolerate too much caffeine and are wanting an alternative.
